With a newly developed, compressorless gas turbine, researchers at the Institute for Thermal Energy Technology and Safety have achieved a record running time for hydrogen combustion and achieve a technological breakthrough toward a CO₂-neutral energy system. The turbine will be presented at the Hannover Messe trade fair from April 20 to 24, 2026.
